The challenge

When LRE came to Bop Design, they had just hired their first in-house marketing person, but their B2B website didn’t reflect the scale or sophistication of a $1B+ renewable energy company. The existing site was generic, lacked visual impact, and failed to communicate with the multiple audiences critical to their business. The content was vague, describing simply “energy solutions” without breaking down their expertise in solar, wind, and storage. It also didn’t address the unique needs of their many audiences: landowners, communities, investors, contractors, and energy buyers. LRE needed a B2B website that positioned the company as an industry leader while clearly explaining what they do, who they serve, and why they stand apart.

Solution

The Bop Design team completely overhauled the site – visually, structurally, and strategically. We introduced a “Partners” section with dedicated pages for each of their target audiences and developed service pages for solar, wind, and storage. We also added a project gallery, including an interactive map feature to showcase LRE’s work nationwide, and introduced news callouts to keep the site fresh, relevant, and appealing to the investor community. The new content spoke directly to each audience’s goals and concerns while reinforcing LRE’s size, credibility, and commitment to responsible energy development. Visually, we incorporated a blend of custom graphics, stock video, and client-supplied imagery – all optimized for speed and performance, leading to a PageSpeed score of 99 – excellent for a high-end B2B website design.

Results

Within the first five months after launch, the B2B website saw significant improvements in metrics. New users increased by nearly 11%, average engagement time per user rose almost 33%, and engaged sessions per active user went up 25%. All events were up nearly 15%.
