“We couldn’t be prouder of all of our applicants and small business members,” said Ruben Barrales, Chamber president and CEO. “It’s not easy being a small business in today’s economy. Through hard work and innovation, these businesses have managed to thrive and contribute to the commercial prosperity of our community.”
Bop Design has won a 2013 AMY award for their work on the Malk Sustainability Partners marketing campaign.
Bop Design created marketing resources for each of the five client segment. These resources (white papers, guides, 1-sheets) were used as both lead generation tools on the website and lead nurturing tools for the business development team. Microsites were created for each market segment on the MSP website.
Bop Design maximized MSP content exposure by re-purposing blog content (on-page SEO) for PRWeb and article directories (off-page SEO). The same content was also utilized for lead nurturing though social media (LinkedIn) and email marketing (monthly newsletter) with MSP providing the contact list. Bop Design also implemented an ad retargeting program with AdRoll to help re-capture leads/visits and prompt engagement with MSP.
In honor of Women’s History Month, The Daily Transcript recognizes local women of influence and inspiration. Kara Jensen, Creative Principal at Bop Design, is one of the honorees because of her commitment to encourage women to pursue their business goals. “A lot of my support for women is through mentoring my staff,” she said. “One of the most satisfying things for me is seeing them progress over the years to become true marketing professionals.”
On April 16 2012, Bop Design’s Creative Principal Kara Jensen was selected as a finalist for the San Diego YWCA “Tribute to Women & Industry” (TWIN) awards. “I am honored to be nominated and excited about the event!” exclaims Jensen. “As a leader of two women on the Bop Design creative team, I am flattered that they nominated me and hope to be a mentor to many more women throughout my career at Bop Design.”
