Nogin, a provider of end-to-end ecommerce software for direct-to-consumer clients, came to Bop Design with the goal of creating a clean, modern website that showcased their software platform while embracing their unique “nerd” culture. They wanted to engage their target audience, primarily in the fashion & apparel, luxury goods & accessories, and CPG industries, using fun and engaging language. Additionally, they sought to clearly position themselves as a technology company and generate high-value leads, emphasizing that Nogin simplifies D2C commerce by handling the complexities of technology.


Our creative team embarked on designing a website that captured the essence of Nogin’s brand and addressed their specific objectives. We created a visually appealing and user-friendly interface that stood out from competitors and incorporated a modern and clean design. The language and tone were carefully crafted to reflect Nogin’s “nerd” culture, engaging the target audience through casual and fun, yet still professional, messaging. The website content highlighted Nogin’s software solutions as a technology company, emphasizing the simplicity they offer to business owners in the D2C space. Our content team also wrote two robust pillar pages and incorporated keywords throughout for SEO purposes. The overall design and user experience aimed to drive high-value leads by showcasing the value proposition and capturing buyer interest.


The website redesign for Nogin yielded impressive results. From January 1, 2023, to March 31, 2023, the site experienced significant growth compared to the same period of the previous year. Sessions increased by 11.58%, indicating a higher level of engagement and interest from website visitors. The average session duration saw a substantial increase of 37.27%, demonstrating enhanced user engagement and interaction with the content. Organic sessions grew by 18.59%, reflecting improved visibility and organic traffic. Organic new users also increased by 13.57%, showcasing successful targeting and attracting new visitors. Most notably, goal completions, including contact form submissions and newsletter sign-ups, increased by an impressive 155.56%. These results highlight the effectiveness of the website design in generating high-value leads and communicating Nogin’s solutions as a technology company, aligning with their objective of simplifying D2C commerce.
