Volta, a provider of cyber security and data center solutions, approached Bop Design seeking assistance in improving their website’s conversion rates and simplifying their messaging to resonate with their target market of midsize companies in the Midwest. Volta had been successful in generating increased traffic through their advertising efforts but struggled to convert that traffic. The goal was to optimize the website for conversions, streamline the messaging to be more customer-centric, and establish Volta’s credibility as a trusted provider within their target market. The existing website was overwhelming with confusing navigation and a lack of easy-to-understand content.
Our team got to work, focusing on improving conversions, simplifying messaging, and establishing credibility. The website was redesigned to provide a more intuitive user experience, with simplified navigation and a clear call-to-action to encourage visitors to contact the Volta team. The messaging was revamped to align with client needs and convey Volta’s 25+ years of experience, flexibility, and knowledgeable staff. To establish credibility, we incorporated easily scannable proof points of success and client stories throughout the website.
After the new site launched, we developed a website promotion campaign which included an email website announcement and retargeting efforts.
After the new site launched, new users grew by 16% and the average time on page reached 1 minute and 53 seconds. These metrics indicate the effectiveness of the new website design in engaging visitors and driving conversions. The increased sessions and new users demonstrate improved traffic acquisition. The pages per session and average time on page metrics indicate increased user engagement and interest in exploring the content. Furthermore, the growth in unique page views reflects successful navigation through the website and increased visibility of different pages.
