When you’re expecting a new WordPress website
Discovery
The discovery call is more than a conversation – it’s a deep dive into what drives your business’s success. We’ll get to know about your mission, your unique value propositions, who your buyers are, and how your B2B website fits into your overall marketing strategy. This phase also includes competitive analysis and search engine optimization (SEO) research for added insight.
Concept creation
Using the information gathered during discovery, we’ll create an initial home page design and messaging strategy. You’ll also get to see a preliminary site map with all your website pages and menu navigation included. We’re known for hitting the mark quickly, but we’ll always take feedback and make revisions to ensure the design exceeds your expectations.
WordPress Website design
Once we get the green light on the homepage and sitemap, it’s time to develop the rest of your website’s pages. Our WordPress developers ensure each page matches the look and feel of your homepage, while providing a layout and flow that delivers the right information at the right moment.
Content Creation
If you thought our WordPress developers were great, wait until you meet our copywriters. Each one is an industry expert that can transform your messaging, goals, and SEO strategy into copy that delights and drives revenue. Often, copywriting and website design take place simultaneously, so you can see new pages complete with compelling content.
WordPress development
A successful WordPress website agency needs to offer more than beautiful design concepts. At this stage, our back-end development services take over marrying the visuals and copy you’ve approved to the right plugins and functionality. We also make sure every website complies with W3C standards and SEO best practices.
Quality assurance (QA)
Other agencies deliver your website, hand you an invoice, and disappear. To us, no website is complete until we ensure our clients are happy and everything is working correctly. So, we follow a strict QA process with open communication and personalized support.
Website launch
Launch day can be exciting, or it can be nerve-wracking. We’d rather it be the former, which is why your website launch will be closely managed by our technical team. We’ll notice any WordPress hosting, plugin, or coding issues that pop up and resolve them faster than you can say “I love my new website!”

Make WordPress work for you
Keep your website secure
WordPress is known to be a secure CMS despite its open-source nature. It’s regularly audited by hundreds of developers, but there’s no guarantee, especially when using custom plugins, themes, and other code injectors. To protect your website, you should choose a reputable managed hosting service, choose strong passwords, and use two-factor authentication for all users. You should also check to make sure your plugins and theme are regularly updated to the latest, most secure version. Check out our Guide to Keeping Your WordPress Website Secure to learn more.
Don’t rely completely on page builders
WordPress page builders like Elementor are fantastic tools that do a lot of the heavy lifting of website design. However, they can limit your customization options and many are bloated with code that slows down your website for a poor user experience. When you use a page builder instead of working with a WordPress web design agency, you’ll also be directly responsible for maintaining the website and making changes as needed. Plus, you’ll still need to add the right plugins to get the functionality you need for success.
Respond to leads within 1 business day
I state this all the time to clients and internally, all leads should be responded to within 1 business day. Typically, you want to reply within an hour. This is important because if you attain the “first mover advantage” in the sales discussion, you can dictate the conversation with the prospect. The prospect is using your SaaS solution as the standard—asking questions to competitors about the features and benefits your software has. You lead the sales discussion rather than being reactive to the questions being prompted by a competitor leading the conversation.
Choose media carefully
Adding huge images, graphics, or videos will slow down your website, but that doesn’t mean you should avoid them altogether. First, make sure that every piece of media you use has a distinct purpose (i.e. don’t just throw stock photos at the wall to see what sticks).
Then, consider how you can minimize the impact on your website’s speed. For images, you can use compression tools and next-gen formats to save space. For videos, you can set limits on length, resolution, and audio levels. Or, you can use a third party to embed videos on your website.
